Bay Area Book Artists
Bay Area Book Artists is a group of independent artists bound together by a passion for the book arts. The group meets twice monthly. On the first Sunday of each month we meet for four hours for share studio time and for mini-workshops or demonstrations run by members. On the third Thursday of each month we meet to plan events, exchange information and share books in-progress. Since 1995, BABA has presented exhibitions at local galleries and museums. In 2002 BABA members organized the first Book Arts Jam at Foothill College. This event has entertained and educated the public each year since. BABA welcomes new members.

About Membership and Joining BABA
The Book Arts Jam
The Book Art Jam is BABA's annual celebration of book art. Held at the Foothill College Los Altos Hills Campus in mid October, it has taken many forms as guided by the organizing member volunteers. Sometimes in the form of a book fair, providing space to individual artists and organizations. Sometimes staged as an activity day featuring demonstrations, hands on activities and panel discussions. Sometimes a blending of these two event styles. Many times the event includes an exhibition of BABA members' art. Always there is inspiration and education in large measure.
