Books as Art as Community
An exhibition of artist's books by members of the Bay Area Book Artists

“Books as Art as Community” is an exhibition of recent book works made by members of Bay Area Book Artists (BABA). BABA was initiated thirteen years ago as a community of artists who came together to share skills, creativity, and enthusiasm about making art that takes book form. The works in this exhibition— including both individual and collaborative works— reflect our wide range of interests and emphasize different aspects of books as art.

The timing of this exhibition coincides with 8th annual Book Arts Jam, co-sponsored by BABA, which will take place at Foothill College on October 17, 2009.
