Sally Cole

Bio

I earned a Certificate in Graphic Design and a BA in Art History, but turned “techie” to pay the bills. Then I rediscovered the pleasure of creating with my hands: book arts, wheel-thrown pottery, and watercolors. No longer an artist in denial.

Artist's Statement

It began with a course in bookbinding. Then I joined the Bay Area Book Artists (BABA) and I've learned new techniques and uses for the bits and pieces of stuff I've collected. My works are evolving as I continue to discover, grow and explore. Time to play!
