We are a group of independent artists bound together by a passion for the book arts and an all-volunteer organization run by the energy and generosity of our members. There is no fee for membership. We ask only that you volunteer in some capacity to help in the ongoing operation of the organization.
SHARE AND LEARN
We meet twice a month: The BABA Sunday Session is a hands-on workshop led by a BABA member usually on the first Sunday of the month from noon to 4 pm. A minimal fee (usually between $10-$25) covers instructor’s prep and materials and a contribution to BABA. On the third Thursday of each month from 7:18 to 9 pm, we have a book share meeting. These meetings include announcements of various exhibits and classes, show-and-tell, and planning upcoming events. See our Events page for more details.
JOIN IN THE CONVERSATION
We maintain an email list that is used by our members to announce our meetings and events, share information and ask questions about all manner of book art stuff.
BABA members use Groups.io to communicate our monthly meeting agenda, meeting location, Sunday workshop sign ups, share and ask book arts related questions.

Each BABA member manages their own on-line gallery. Members who wish to add, remove or update their gallery should contact email@example.com
BE PART OF THE BOOK ARTS JAM
Our largest event, The Book Arts Jam includes a member gallery of exceptional artist books and altered books created by our members. Our members participate in various forms by volunteering, leading Make & Take activities, etc. See Book Arts Jam section for photos of Past Jams.
